We strive to make education accessible and debt-free by connecting students with valuable financial aid opportunities. That is why we are releasing the first edition of our FREE quarterly scholarship newsletter, featuring some of the best scholarships available right now! Our list will be updated weekly, so be sure to check back regularly for new opportunities.

1. Semester at Sea Need-Based Grants
Deadline: April 25, 2025 (Fall 2025 Programs) & September 15, 2025 (Spring 2026 Programs)
Amount: $250 – $10,000
Eligibility: Open to all students who are confirmed voyagers with a paid deposit. Awards are based on FAFSA EFC.

2. CBC Spouses Education Scholarship
Deadline: March 29, 2025
Amount: $2,500 – $20,000
Eligibility: African American/Black students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degrees. Must reside in or attend school in a Congressional Black Caucus member’s district.

3. Ally Financial Law Scholars
Deadline: March 15, 2025
Amount: $60,000
Eligibility: U.S. citizens or residents entering accredited law schools. Must demonstrate leadership and community involvement.

Deadline: March 15, 2025
Amount: $5,000
Eligibility: Full-time Black students pursuing degrees in performing arts (music, dance, opera, etc.).

Eligibility: Full-time Black students pursuing visual arts degrees (graphic design, photography, fashion, etc.).

Deadline: March 15, 2025
Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Black students attending HBCUs, committed to social justice fields like civil rights, criminal justice, and economic development.

7. Innovation Leader Scholarship
Deadline: March 29, 2025
Amount: $10,000
Eligibility: Rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors pursuing degrees in engineering or computer science at AMIE-accredited HBCUs.

8. Blacks at Microsoft Scholarship
Deadline: March 13, 2025
Amount: $2,500 – $5,000
Eligibility: African American high school seniors pursuing tech-related majors. Must demonstrate leadership and financial need.

Deadline: April 1, 2025 (Undergrad) & May 1, 2025 (Law Students)
Amount: $3,000 per year
Eligibility: U.S. students with financial need and a commitment to public service. Family income must be under $70,000.

10. Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship
Deadline: March 31, 2025
Amount: Up to $40,000
Eligibility: Underrepresented students in engineering, computer science, or related fields. Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher.

11. Path Ventures Scholarship
📅 Due Date: April 5, 2025
💰 Amount: Up to $25,000
🔍 Overview: The Path Ventures Scholarship supports undergraduate and graduate students attending school full-time. Students who demonstrate academic strength and financial need are welcome to apply.

Minimum 2.50 GPA
Resident of the U.S.
High school junior, senior, undergraduate, or graduate student

12. Spectrum Scholars

💰 Amount: Up to $20,000
🔍 Overview: Awarded to rising college juniors identifying as Asian/Pacific Islander, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and/or Native American. In addition to a scholarship, recipients will be provided a professional Charter mentor and an internship opportunity at one of the company’s corporate campuses in Stamford, Charlotte, St. Louis, or Denver.

Minimum 3.0 GPA
Rising college junior
Seeking a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, communications, computer science, public relations, or visual design-related field

🔍 Overview: Open to high school seniors and community college students who live in designated rural counties of North Carolina.
✅ Eligibility:
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Resident of one of 78 designated rural counties in North Carolina
Graduating high school senior or transferring community college student
Planning to enroll at a four-year college or university in North Carolina
Seeking a bachelor's degree as a full-time student
Committed to returning to a rural North Carolina county after graduation

14. WV Higher Education Grant
📅 Due Date: April 15, 2025
💰 Amount: Up to $6,800
🔍 Overview: The West Virginia Higher Education Grant is available to students who are planning to attend an eligible postsecondary institution in West Virginia or Pennsylvania. Recipients are chosen for their academic promise and demonstration of financial need. West Virginia residents who have not previously earned a bachelor's degree are eligible to apply.

Resident of West Virginia
High school senior or undergraduate student
Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
Full-time student
Attending or planning to attend one of the participating colleges in Pennsylvania or West Virginia

15. American Bus Association Scholarship – Academic Merit

💰 Amount: $5,000
🔍 Overview: Awarded to students pursuing a career in the transportation, travel, and tourism industries.
✅ Eligibility:
Freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student at an accredited university (four-year university/college or junior college)
Declared major or course of study relevant to the transportation, travel, and tourism industry
Minimum GPA of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale
Must submit a short essay on how their major or course of study is relevant to the industry

16. American Bus Association Scholarship – Diversity

💰 Amount: $5,000
🔍 Overview: This scholarship supports diverse students pursuing careers in the travel and tourism industries. Applicants must demonstrate diversity in cultural background, socioeconomic status, nationality, age, race, or ethnicity.
✅ Eligibility:
Freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student at an accredited university (four-year university/college or junior college)
Declared major or course of study relevant to the travel and tourism industry
Demonstrated diversity in background (culture, socioeconomic status, nationality, minorities, age, race, or ethnicity)
Applicants affiliated with ABA-member companies receive additional consideration
Must submit a 500-word essay on advancing the future of the transportation, motorcoach, travel, and tourism/hospitality industries

17. Federal Gilman Scholarship

💰 Amount: Up to $5,000
🔍 Overview: The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program supports students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad, helping them develop skills critical to national security and economic prosperity. The scholarship is highly competitive and merit-based.
✅ Eligibility:
U.S. citizen or national
Undergraduate student in good standing at an accredited institution (two-year or four-year)
Receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application or able to provide proof of receiving a Pell Grant during the study abroad term
Accepted into a credit-bearing study abroad or internship program
Applying for a program in a country with an overall U.S. State Department Travel Advisory Level 1 or 2 (restrictions apply for certain Level 3 and 4 regions)

📌 Overview: This scholarship supports academically talented and highly motivated African American or Black students by reducing the financial barrier to a college degree. Financial need is verified through FAFSA.

Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
